 The Human Needs Food Pantry was established in 1982 by the
First Baptist Church of Montclair and later incorporated as an
independent non-profit organization. Our staff includes
five paid part time employees as well as over 30 regular volunteers.
We rely heavily on these dedicated volunteers who pack and
distribute our food packages, pick up from food suppliers, sort
donated clothes and housewares, deliver
food to the elderly and disabled and participate in the client
interview process. A 20 member Board of Directors provides
the policy-making direction for the organization. |
